Safety Instructions |
|
|
The IVEO Touchpad and Touchpad Portable are sensitive electronic devices. Do not disassemble the Touchpad or Touchpad Portable. Doing so will void the warranty.
- Wipe off dirt, sand, or
fingerprints on the touch screen of the your touchpad with a soft,
lint-free cloth. Follow these instructions for cleaning:
- Typically, isopropyl alcohol
and a water solution of 50:50 is the best cleaning agent for your touchpad. You can also use straight isopropyl
alcohol. Be sure to follow solvent manufacturer's precautions and
directions for use when using any solvents.
- It is important to avoid using
any caustic chemicals on the touchpad. Do not use any vinegar based solutions.
- Always dampen the cloth first and
then clean the screen. Be sure to
spray the cleaning liquid onto the cloth, not the screen, so that drips
do not seep inside the frame.
- Apply the cleaner with a soft,
lint-free cloth. Avoid using
gritty cloths.
- Always handle the touchpad
with care. Do not pull on or
stress cables.
- Keep the touchpad dry and
do not immerse it in liquid. Do not
allow liquid or any type of metallic object (such as glitter) to spill
inside the frame, which contains sensitive electronic parts. If liquid or metallic objects are
spilled into the frame, shut down the computer and disconnect the touchpad
from the computer immediately.
- Do not expose your touchpad
to excessive heat or cold. Avoid
hot environments, such as the interior of a car, radiator vents, etc. Try to avoid exposure to direct
sunlight.
- Do not set heavy objects on the touchpad.
- Keep the touchpad flat:
do not twist or bend it.
- Use caution opening and closing
the paper clamp.
